Ferroniobium

The guaranteed chemical composition and sizes for the standard grade ferroniobium supplied by Catalão meet the strict market requirements as well as international standards. In order to meet market specifications a wide range of sizes and packagings is provided. Among these, the most common are the sizes 2 - 12 mm and 10 - 30 mm, as well as a variety of packaging types including I tonne big bags and 250 kg drums.

Laboratories at Catalão employ modern methods and equipments, such as X-ray fluorescence spectrometer, ion exchange and gravimetry to analyse Nb and the main impurities in the alloy. A Certificate of Analysis is provided with each lot supplied. The company also takes part in the international market development activities and is a member of TIC - Tantalum and Niobium International Study Center, headquartered in Brussels.
